The wait for Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys' fifth studio album, a follow up to "The Element of Freedom," may be over in few months. According to Keys, discussing the project Tuesday, the album is well on its way."I think we got a couple more months and we're ready to fly,' Keys told ABC's Robin Roberts Tuesday, while promoting the Broadway effort 'Stick Fly'.
While Keys says a couple months, the singer has no plans to rush the album. Instead, she wants to ensure fans will be blown away when the hear it.
"You deserve the best and I want to give you the best," Keys told Roberts in response to fans questioning when she would return to music. "So, when you hear this music you are blown away."
Keys' "The Element of Freedom" was released in 2009 prior to the birth of her son Egypt and marriage to producer/artist Swizz Beatz.
